Children’s Ministry

Making Disciples…

We want to partner with parents to make disciples of Jesus, helping equip children to become all God created them to be! We do this through intentional character development, teaching the truth of God's word, and learning to serve others, all in a loving and safe environment. Our goal is to come alongside parents in their God-given role of training up their children in the ways of the Lord (Deut. 6:6-7, Eph. 6:4), and see our ministry to children as ministry to the whole family. Your children are precious to our church family and we are thankful for each one!

Sunday Morning

We value Sunday mornings during bible study hour (9:30am-10:30am) as a time to teach directly from God’s word. We use the Gospel Project curriculum, and love that it teaches the Bible from Genesis to Revelation while focusing on ‘Big Picture’ themes: God Rules. We Sinned. God Provided. Jesus Gives. We Respond. We offer the following times to minister to your child.

Nursery: (infants - 2y/o) Our nursery is a safe, loving environment for children to start hearing about Jesus and His love for them.
Pre-School: (2y/o - PreK) Our preschool class is a fun time for kids to learn about God and includes Bible stories, interactive games, crafts, playground time, and snack.
Children’s Ministry: (kinder - 5th grade) Our Children’s Ministry enjoy both whole group time as well as small group time divided by grade level. Whole group time includes worship songs, scripture memory, introducing the Bible lesson, and watching a mini-preview video of the lesson. Small group time includes engaging with the Bible lesson through discussion, games, and crafts. Snack is provided.

Wednesday Evening

We value Wednesday (6:00pm-7:30pm) nights as an opportunity to teach kids about turning their faith outward through service, learning about missionaries, and what God’s word says about making disciples. We provide and serve dinner to children at 6:00pm each Wednesday evening, followed by worship, a Bible lessons, activities/games, and rec time.

Children’s Ministry: (PreK|4y/o - 3rd grade) Follows the “Missions Journey”, where they learn about the world, pray for the world, and learn how they can be used to tell others about God's Son, Jesus.’
Pre-Teen Ministry: (4th-5th) Be Bold provides the building blocks of faith to preschoolers and raise a basic awareness of God’s love for all people.

Children’s Church

Children are invited and encourage to participate in worship with their families, as it is a valuable time for kids to learn about corporate worship. We also offer Children's Church once a month for Kinder - 3rd grade, where kids leave the worship center during the sermon time for their own object lesson, activities, and playground time.

Childcare is available in the Preschool Cottage during our worship service for infants - PreK.
